Inward Sermon Series

Week 4

Sermon from 11/10/19- "Stay Close to the Vineby Pastor David L. Sawhill

John 15:1-8  "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart form me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Week 3

Sermon from 11/03/19- "All Scripture is God-breathedby Pastor David L. Sawhill

2 Timothy 3:14-17 "But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Week 2

Sermon from 10/28/19- "More than the ABC'sby Pastor David L. Sawhill

Hebrews 5:11-13

"We have much to say about this, but it's difficult to explain because you have become too dull to understand. At a time when you should be teachers you need someone to teach you the ABC's of God's Word again. It has come to this that you need milk again instead of solid food. Anyone who lives on milk, being a baby, doesn't have enough experience to talk of what is right."

Week 1

Sermon from 10/20/19-"Transformed"  by Pastor David L. Sawhill

Romans 12: 1-2

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship.  Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will."
